In-Home Consultation

How does it work and what is the cost?

The cost for the in-home consultation is $125 per visit, payable upon booking. The consultation fee may be credited towards the project (min. $1,000 value) from Alber’s Fire-places if realized within 6 months of the initial visit. The consultation fee is not refundable whether it results in any tangible projects or not. The in-home consultation may include:

• A 3D conceptual drawing of the project layout with approximate dimensions (not architectural drawings) 
• A quote for the hearth products selected and budget numbers for the installation
• The basis for further development of the concept, selection of materials and a plan of action

What we don’t do.

Our hearth & outdoor fire specialists are not Architects, Designers or Engineers our expertise is limited to hearth products and outdoor fire features.

• We cannot provide architectural drawings or engineering solutions
• We are not interior designers and can’t do room designs, furniture plans and design layouts.
• We are not general contractors but we offer referrals for other installation and service professionals that may be part of your project.
• We are not involved with the actual installation and realization of the project and the sole responsibility lies with the installation company or building contractor.

What we do.

Our hearth & outdoor fire specialists will work closely with you to find a hearth solution for your home.

• We will obtain the products to fulfill this project and store them at our warehouse until you are ready for delivery or installation.
• As an authorized dealer, we will continue to supply parts, supplies and services for your unit as long as they are available from the manufacturer.
• · We refer you to one of our NJ certified Hearth Master installation companies to handle the installation for you or we can work with your contractor
• We do guarantee the products integrity and performance as offered by, and in accordance with the manufacturers warranties.
